The Nation’s First Weedery Is Set To Open In Colorado

Colorado Cannabis Ranch & Amphitheater

What is a Cannabis Ranch?

Scheduled to open its doors in 2016, the Colorado Cannabis Ranch & Amphitheater is a world-class marijuana cultivation center. Like a brewery or winery but for legal marijuana, the Ranch will give the public the unique opportunity to tour an award-winning state of the art marijuana grow facility, listen to live music, and enjoy a meal, all while enjoying sweeping views of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains.

The Ranch will feature a number of exciting features designed to create a one-of-a-kind experience:

  • Interactive tour of large-scale marijuana cultivation facility

  • 3,000+ capacity outdoor amphitheater

  • Restaurant and rooftop bar featuring locally grown ingredients

  • On-site dispensary

  • Gift shop

  • Sweeping views of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains

  • Positioned within a half-hour of downtown Denver and Denver International Airport

Why a Cannabis Ranch?

There is an obvious lack of education and awareness among the public towards the legal marijuana industry – rightfully so as it could not be legally studied or observed for decades. A culture was created that was clouded in misinformed stereotypes formed by outsiders looking in. We are now at a unique time in history that will never occur again. With marijuana’s legalization in select states, the world is watching and we have the opportunity – and responsibility – to change the conversation and shape the future. The Cannabis Ranch is our attempt to do that.

The Cannabis Ranch focuses primarily on education, awareness, acceptance of marijuana as well as practical agricultural job training and creation. The Cannabis Ranch is the Colorado’s first “weedery.” Similar to a winery or a brewery but for legal marijuana, the Ranch serves to help demystify and normalize legal marijuana by providing a unique cultural and educational experience. This experience is designed to make the realities of the legal marijuana business and its culture more accessible to the public, to enable them to create more informed opinions about it.

Our model will allow us to cultivate a higher volume of marijuana in a cleaner, more socially responsible way. We’re proud of the business we’re in, but confident it can be done better – we believe we’ve found the solution. By growing in large scale greenhouses we eliminate many of the high costs and waste associated with the industry trend of indoor facilities. We lower our production costs while improving product quality, and increasing our production yield. We create jobs and research opportunities. We’re confident that with this model we will experience higher revenues and raise industry standards, and create an experience visitors will be intrigued by.

Visitors will have the opportunity to tour our facility, eat and drink at our restaurant, purchase our product, or take part in a concert or community event at the amphitheater. In opening our doors to the public and providing them with  a fully unique experience, we help normalize this model of excellence. These opportunities create additional revenue streams that will go back into the growth and maintenance of the cultivation facility and local events. The more revenue we see, the more we can give back to our community, and that’s an idea that makes us proud of what we do.

Ours is the best way to grow this business and cultivate community.

  • Increased product yield; decreased waste and production costs

  • Additional revenue sources that in return finance and foster community growth projects

  • Access to educational and cultural opportunities designed to demystify marijuana industry

  • Agricultural job training and education opportunities

Why a Grow Tour?

Let’s face it, marijuana has been around forever. Many people have seen marijuana… but they’ve never really seen marijuana. We’re talking about real, high quality, legal marijuana. They’ve never seen the care and passion that goes into growing it; the science behind the feeding and maintenance, the time and climate manipulation, the personalities of each individual plant. They’ve never seen the trials and errors that go into finding the perfect clone, the testing, the rejections, and the hand-trimming. They’ve never seen the people employed in this industry and the lengths to which they’ll go to ensure safety and quality for their end-user. The bud most people have seen, felt, smelled, and smoked is not the bud of legal grows, it’s the bud of a different time and space.

Why should you care? Because, people have never really seen marijuana. And so they’ve never really made a well-informed opinion or decision around marijuana. Whether you choose to use it or not, to support legalization or not, to engage in the conversation or not, you own that decision. We want to help people take control of that decision by providing them with a level of education and expsure not encountered anywhere else in the world – because there isn’t anything else in the world quite like the Cannabis Ranch.

Imagine a garden where your favorite ingredients – lettuce, basil, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, pumpkins – are grown alongside legally grown cannabis plants. A place where you are as aware of the ingredients used to feed your marijuana as those used to feed your vegetables. How would that affect your understanding of marijuana? Its use, purity and potential? You care about where your food has been and how it’s been processed and the effects it has on your body – why wouldn’t we demand that the same care be applied to marijuana cultivation?

We have a responsibility to the future of this industry and of the free will of our nation’s citizens. We’re creating a legal marijuana facility designed to provide the public with the ability to tour the process from seed to sale in order to answer any question, any wonder, any confusion, and shape a more constructive conversation.

Our grow tour will create a unique opportunity for visitors to participate in the marijuana industry and provide the first marijuana experience of its kind. Witnessing the people and processes behind our marijuana will foster a positive experience, create an affinity for the plant, and position the Colorado Cannabis Ranch & Amphitheater as brand of choice in the marijuana industry. This in turn will lead to increased brand recognition, sales, revenue and success that can be invested back into the community.

Ours is the best way to grow this business and cultivate community.

  • Unique opportunity to participate in the marijuana industry

  • Behind the scenes look at state of the art legal marijuana cultivation facility

  • Cultivation process mirroring farm to table food production

  • Only tour of its kind in the world

Why an Amphitheater?

Botanical Gardens, farmland, beaches, and parks have long been the homes of amphitheaters. These outdoor arenas emphasize the relationship between music and nature, creating a unique and memorable experience for audience members and performers alike. They remove the commercial and manufactured aspect of many venues, and allow us to get back to enjoying music and nature the way they were meant to be – in union with one another and with friends.

It is undeniable that since the beginning of time marijuana has been one of those natural elements that has influenced music, and music has in turn influenced the culture around marijuana. The legalization of marijuana allows us to acknowledge and celebrate this publicly. What better way than to actually play and enjoy music alongside a full-scale legal marijuana grow facility, the same way we would alongside a botanical garden or park?

The amphitheater will play host not only to musicians, but an array of community events as well, such as farmer’s markets, yoga and dance lessons, theatrical performances, art fairs, food tastings, and more. We’re providing a space for the community to gather, grow and learn together, and – most importantly – have fun. This positioning alongside a marijuana grow facility is symbolic of today’s realities in states like Colorado and Washington, where marijuana is legally another aspect of everyday life. Why not make a statement by enjoying the things we always have, such as music, food, friends and cultural activities, physically alongside the marijuana plant? In doing so, we show the world that we can create something positive in this space – both physical and conversational – without compromising a community’s values and goals.

Through the amphitheater we are making a statement. We are positioning marijuana and the conversation that surrounds it on the same plane as all other elements of our daily lives. We are stating that this is the right, this is good, and this is part of our culture. Celebrate it.

We strive to do business in a better way, while having fun and serving as good stewards to the earth and community. The amphitheater allows us to truly live out these values, and that is something we are proud of. We believe this destination creates an experience people will want to be a part of, that this is both a tourist and local community destination. The way we see it, the more successful we are, the more we can give to our community – the amphitheater will allow us to achieve these goals.

Ours is the best way to grow this business and cultivate community, awareness and acceptance.

  • Tourist and community attraction

  • Significant revenue stream creates opportunity for community contribution

  • Contribute to Denver’s growing art and artisan culture

  • Job creation opportunities

Why a Restaurant?

As a country we’ve become much more conscientious of the quality of what we put into our bodies. We are asking more and more where our ingredients come from and how they are processed. Hence the popularity of the farm to table food movement. We value this level of quality and awareness, and we aim to exhibit this concept at the Ranch through the transparency of our seed to sale process of our cannabis. This value transcends our marijuana grow, and can be found incorporated throughout our various goals and offerings.

For the first time ever, visitors will have the chance to break bread alongside a vast legal marijuana grow facility – symbolizing the industry’s movement towards its acceptance in everyday settings.

Our restaurant will feature a unique, ever-changing menu that reflects the availability of ingredients grown right on site. We value the role food plays in bringing people together and cultivating conversation. Whether visitors are gathering before or after a grow tour – an experience unlike any they’ve ever had – or to watch a show at the amphitheater, or just to grab a drink with a friend, we’ll provide them with a comfortable, familiar setting that fosters a sense of community.

The restaurant and bar will serve as a focal point of the Ranch. We’re confident that by providing a restaurant and bar, we’re providing a venue for all visitors regardless of backgrounds or beliefs.

Strategically located between downtown Denver and Denver International Airport, we provide a convenient location for a meeting of friends, families or colleagues, in a setting that is unlike any they’ve ever had. The restaurant and bar will serve as an independent revenue stream to make the Ranch & Amphitheater the most fascinating experience our visitors have every had.

Ours is the best way to grow this business and cultivate community, awareness and acceptance.

  • Transparent cultivation process

  • Unique dining environment

  • Locally grown ingredients

  • Designed to engage groups of all sizes and backgrounds

We’ve designed the Cannabis Ranch in a way that fosters acceptance of the seed to sale process of legal marijuana. The final step in our production process is the sale, which, in Colorado, occurs in the dispensary. Legal marijuana sales are not the marijuana sales of times past. Today they are highly regulated, consumer-centric experiences facilitated by experts in the industry. Many people have never stepped inside a dispensary, and we acknowledge that even a number of our visitors may never plan to enter one in the future. However, the dispensary is a key component in legal marijuana education.

In the dispensary, visitors will meet budtenders – highly knowledgeable staff whose job is to know the product inside and out, and ensure a personalized marijuana experience. Visitors will notice that the dispensary serves as a sort of museum to marijuana products. Today, in legal states, marijuana products are available in a number of forms to ingest in any number of ways: traditional bud, wax, oil, vapor, edibles, drinks, and more. These various formats aid in creating a personalized experience.

Even if you do not intend to purchase the product, we invite you to visit the dispensary and see first hand how the new industry speaks about the product. How they consult on the product. How many patients visit dispensaries as they would pharmacies. Please visit us and see how we are changing the face of marijuana marketing and sales – for both the brand and the consumer.

We have years of dispensary management experience to lean on. We know our dispensary will attract both visitors and regular customers. The Colorado Ranch & Amphitheater concept is revolutionary, and people will visit it. We welcome visitors who plan to shop, or just bask in the novel experience. The more successful we are, the more we’re able to do for our facility, our community and our customer – and that is the ultimate goal.

Ours is the best way to grow this business and cultivate community, awareness and acceptance.
